We will be updating our Traffic API on 3/17/26 at 1 am EDT. It will not change any API call structure from customers.

We are adding the node "type" in the response under incidents to give you better understanding what is causing the incident. Possible values for Type are as follows:

1 - Construction
2 - Event, such as a concert, festival, etc.
3 - Flow
4 - incident

No noticeable downtime is expected.
